Happy New Year!

Don’t let your new year’s resolution slip away with these frigid temperatures. Get out and bike, pull up a trainer, strap on some snowshoes, or just get your bike ready for spring.

The days are getting longer and warmer temperatures will be here before you know it. Any activity will make that first bike ride much more fun.

Cycling year-round in Michigan is a safe and comfortable activity with the proper clothing and gear. Dermatone, for example, helps fend off frostbite, and it’s in stock now.

Stop in and let us help you to keep your fitness level up!!

Upcoming Class

We are hosting a tube change class. Don’t get caught walking home. Call the shop to sign up for the class: 989-463-5260. The class is open to the first 10 people.

The class will take place at Terry’s Cycle on January 27th at 3:30 pm. You will need to bring your bike and a set of tire levers. The cost is $20 (plus $3.19 for tire levers if you need them). We will provide a floor pump, but you can bring your own pump if you need practice using it. If you’ve never used your CO2 inflator, this is a good time to get some practice.

Tools and tube change supplies will be marked down 20% during the event.

Have some fun while learning how to self-rescue!

Cycling Apparel on Sale

Some new spring and summer sale clothes arrived the other day. Which reminded us, there’s still some winter clothing left on the 50% off rack.

Stop in and save on your all-season cycling needs!

The Timberwolf

Freezing air and falling snow won’t keep you stuck inside. Whether commuting year-round or riding powdery backwoods singletrack, the Timberwolf is the helmet for your coldest rides. The Timberwolf leverages Giro’s industry-leading snow helmet design to keep you warm and comfortable in spite of winter’s chill.

This light, low-profile helmet is loaded with features, including Stack Vent™ technology to help reduce goggle fogging, an In Form fit system (for easy adjustment with gloved hands), plus on-the-fly adjustable Thermostat Control™ ventilation. And with a brushed fleece liner and removable ear pads, you’ll be comfortably covered for any winter adventure. Pair this helmet with a Giro Taz or Tempo goggle and go!

Studded Tires

If you already have a fat bike, there is a good chance your tires can be studded. If not, a good pair of studded tires can keep you riding through a Mid-Michigan winter. Just ask Baxter. He rolls on studded tires.
